Pier and Sea Front

Pier and Sea Front

The palace's pier on the Bosphorus shore and the ornate stone facade seen by seafarers.

The coastal facade of Beylerbeyi Palace and the grand pier, the main entry point of the palace, represents both a functional transportation point and a highly impressive architectural structure.

The pier complex, designed by the Balyan family, consists of a separate boathouse and additional structures housing all functional groups. Sultans and official state guests would arrive here directly by sea.

The facade facing the water bears the character of the Balyan family structures, showcasing high-quality stonework and arch compositions.

Visitor Tip

For photography, the angle from the Bosphorus side is ideal for capturing the striking high facade.
